The killing is the second murder-suicide in less than 24 hours in the city.

On Tuesday night, a 25-year-old man forced his way into a home in the 100 block of Croesus Avenue, near Interstate 10 and Vance Jackson Road. He shot three people inside before turning the gun on himself.

The 25-year-old suspect, a 64-year-old man and 60-year-old woman were all pronounced dead at the scene. A 24-year-old woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The murder-suicide followed a report of a domestic assault at the same home around 12:30 p.m. Monday, less than 48 hours before the killings.
