CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A juvenile male and an adult male were injured in a shooting early Saturday morning, according to the Corpus Christi Police Department.

Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Ocean Drive at 4:49 a.m. on May 10, 2025, in response to the shooting. Upon arrival, they found a juvenile male with gunshot wounds and administered first aid until medics arrived. The juvenile was then transported to a local hospital in critical condition. Around the same time, an adult male arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound, stated the department.

Detectives from the CCPD’s Criminal Investigations Division were called to the scene due to the nature of the incident. Preliminary investigations revealed that a disturbance occurred, leading to the production of a weapon. Several witnesses were detained at the scene and are currently being formally interviewed by CID, according to the press release.

The incident is considered isolated, and the investigation is active and ongoing.
