Prom season is a high school tradition, and when it includes a trip to Hollywood, then it’s really something good.
Hollywood was the theme of the 2026 Junior Cattle Baron’s patient prom for Children’s Health.
It was the third year of the event, where teenage patients are the stars of the night.
The evening gave them the chance to experience the magic of prom and a sense of normalcy for themselves and their families.
There were 50 to 60 kids at this year’s prom, with a dozen volunteers at their side helping them enjoy the night.
Everything from the women’s and men’s attire to alterations to jewelry and catering was donated. The Sewell Family, St Bernard’s Sports. Susan Saffron, Lawson’s Rentals, and Guthrie’s Catering were among the supporters.
The Junior Cattle Baron’s Patient Prom for Children’s Health has been a special event for the hospital and the women of Cattle Baron’s Ball Dallas.
