With the Austin City Limits Music Festival 2026 lineup officially out, the next phase of festival season has begun: spreadsheet-level planning. Between Charli xcx’s hyperpop party, Lorde’s controlled melancholy and a lineup crowded with punk and EDM acts, ACL’s 25th anniversary edition feels engineered for the modern festival crowd.
Now comes the harder part: figuring out how to actually do ACL this year. Fans are already trying to predict which artists will land on which weekends, whether a single-day ticket gamble is worth it and how aggressively they’ll need to refresh their browsers once daily lineups arrive. Here’s what we know.

When can I buy single-day tickets? When are ACL single-day lineups dropping?

The festival has not yet released its single-day lineups or one-day tickets, but based on recent years, they will likely drop later this month, meaning there’s still time to plan, spiral and convince yourself you can sprint to stages at Zilker once the gates open.
Weekend one three-day general admission wristbands sold out quickly last week, and weekend two three-day passes are very close to sold out, according to festival organizers.

“I expect one-days will be coming soon!” Sandee Fenton, director of communications for the festival, told the Statesman on Monday.

Austin City Limits Music Festival released its 2026 lineup on May 5 with nostalgia repackaged for the TikTok era, dance music everywhere and a noticeable absence of rap and country heavyweights. At the top, Charli XCX and Lorde arrive as dual avatars of millennial-pop reinvention.

Rock gets a jolt from newer acts like Amyl and the Sniffers, Geese and Turnstile, all of whom have figured out how to translate sweat-soaked live energy into internet mythology. The lineup’s Latin contingent is led by Young Miko.

Electronic music dominates too. Skrillex, RÜFÜS DU SOL and Steve Aoki anchor the EDM side, while younger acts like Snow Strippers and Fcukers pull from a more internet-native club aesthetic. Elsewhere, the festival leans hard into revivalism. Kings of Leon, Twenty One Pilots and The Chainsmokers tap directly into 2010s radio nostalgia.

The two-weekend festival returns to Zilker Park on Oct. 2–4 and Oct. 9–11, bringing tens of thousands back to the city’s most recognizable stretch of grass.

Tickets are available through the festival’s official site, aclfestival.com. Pricing is tiered and costs go up as each tier sells out.

Fans can choose from a range of options, including general admission, GA+, VIP and Platinum passes, each offering different levels of access and amenities. General admission three-day passes for weekend two start at $375. While weekend one tickets are officially sold out, expect to see high-dollar passes show up on resale sites including the official Ticketmaster marketplace in the coming weeks.
