Sometimes we all need to give in to that craving and buy that frozen pizza. But then we have to decide which frozen pizza to buy. H-E-B has no shortage of options, but it almost becomes too many options as you go up and down the aisle looking for the perfect frozen pizza slice.

Texans on Reddit took the debate online this week, with Redditor Ravenmore67 asking the H-E-B subreddit, “What’s the best frozen pizza at HEB?” Adding that the answer might save them some money. As of Tuesday, May 12, almost 100 people chimed in, with several names thrown around, but only a few stood tall.

The top comment belonged to Redditor chicknette, whose “Motor City Pizza” reply received 65 upvotes, the most of any reply.

Redditor Baryonyxarcana agreed with the Motor City Pizza choice, while geneticdrifter wrote:

“I have eaten all of your mentions. Home run is my favorite frozen from HeB. Motor City is legit. Best Detroit style from HEB without a doubt. Really good pizza in general, but also an exceptional Detroit style. Paradoxically, I would take Motor City over via 313 when it comes to Detroit style.”

Others liked Redditors VHSKING319 and DiogenesTheHound lent their support to Midtown Pizza, praising the meat trio and Amalfi Coast flavors, while also bemoaning the loss of the smoked brisket & sausage flavor.

Other notable selections included Red Baron Brick Oven, Screamin’ Sicilian, Bola and Home Run Inn Pizza.

“Screamin Sicilian was the best I ever tasted for a frozen. So for a little more I get my Little Caesars pizza fresh but ever a frozen its the Screamin,” Therex1282 replied.

“Bola literally tastes like one of those homemade local places that make it all from scratch. It’s so good. (The sausage has some KICK to it though.),” GC0125 wrote.

“Red Baron is our cheap go-to. Bola is great but expensive,” RebeccaDanie11e replied. “The Stranger Things pizzas were awesome, SO much pepperoni but unfortunately they didn’t stick around.”

Meanwhile, No_Guara_1140 wrote, “I personally love Home Run Inn pizzas, and I think HEB sells the minis now. A friend of mine from Chicago got my hooked on them. Worth a try.”
