AUSTIN, Texas (KFVS) – Four young Texas men were wrongly accused of committing the Yogurt Shop murders.
Now, the city of Austin has reportedly reached a multi-million dollar settlement with them.
CBS Austin is reporting an attorney involved in the case puts the total settlement at $35 million.
A judge declared Michael Scott, Robert Springsteen, Forrest Welborn and Maurice Pierce innocent of the crime back in February.
At their exoneration hearing, Austin Detective Dan Jackson testified the evidence shows serial killer Robert Brashers alone committed that devastating crime.
