Fort Worth, TX (May 13, 2026) – Trinity Pride Fest, presented by The Help Center for LGBTQ Health, announced today its return to South Main Street in Fort Worth’s Near Southside on June 27 from 6 to 11 PM for a vibrant evening of community-driven celebration focused on queer talent, queer vendors, and visibly allied participants. With an opening march, live music, food trucks, performances, a vendor market, and surprises sprinkled throughout the night, the grassroots festival is Cowtown’s one-and-only Pride celebration. The free-to-attend event, which welcomed more than 7,500 attendees last year (2025), occupies the South Main corridor from West Vickery to Cleveland Avenue. 

When asked about the choice to host the festival in The Near Southside, Roger Calderon, president of Trinity Pride Fort Worth, stated: “It’s a celebration of the community that celebrates us. Businesses in the Near Southside work actively every day, not just during Pride, to make their locations safe spaces for the queer community. To be in a place where you can feel safe, and where businesses and residents want you there, is a much needed experience to the queer community. It’s a chance for us to feel truly seen and respected.”

Near Southside President, Megan Henderson added, “Trinity Pride Fest is the kind of event that strengthens our community—vibrant, inclusive, and locally driven. Celebrations like this bring people together, support small businesses, activate public spaces, and strengthen our local economy. Near Southside is proud to support an event that celebrates the diversity and connection that make our city stronger.”

Festivities kick off with the opening march, where more than 30 organizations will march down South Main Street while music fills the air. Afterwards, the festival commences in South Main Village, where local talent, vendors, and Fort Worth’s LGBTQ+ community and allies come together to celebrate. 

New this year is a larger main stage at the end of West Vickery and South Main streets, where performers include Turtle Creek Chorale, an ensemble from Oak Lawn Band and a high-octane performance set curated by America’s King 2025, August Edwards. The Bearded Lady will also have live bands throughout the evening, and four performance areas in total keep things lively. Drag programming is scheduled, including pop-up drag shows at South Main District Salon and drag king takeovers from the Funky Town Follies at HopFusion Ale Works.

Due to both vendor and shopper demands, the Wandering Roots Pride Market, located within South Main’s Micro Park and along Daggett Avenue, is doubling in size for this year’s festival, with more than 80 vendors expected and additional food trucks scheduled as well. Non-Profit Row, which connects attendees with resources that foster health, safety, inclusion, and belonging across Fort Worth and the region, returns with organizations providing information about their services and building connections within the community. Surprise pop-up experiences happen throughout the evening, andAmphibian Stage is hosting a pop-up activation for Q Cinema, Fort Worth’s LGBTQ+ international film festival that takes place in the fall.

Previously held at Magnolia Green Park, Trinity Pride Fest’s move to South Main Street in 2025 harkens back to the nonprofit’s original mission, which is to be an organization in Fort Worth that provides a collaborative and community experience for all—which is exactly what South Main Street’s businesses have done by embracing Trinity Pride Fest. 

Calderon finished by saying, “It’s important to be visible, and to remind our neighbors that we’re not just queer. We’re business owners, we’re consumers, we’re doctors, we’re lawyers, and we’re people who also want to spend a Saturday night safe in our community. And it’s important for people who do not feel safe to see that they can come out to a place and feel like part of the community.”
