The Aggies are hosting tournament champions UConn (Big East), McNeese (Southland) and Arizona State (Big 12). Last year, Conference USA Tournament champions Liberty shocked Texas A&M and claimed a spot in the Eugene Super Regional.
Games will be played throughout the weekend at Davis Diamond starting Friday afternoon when the Aggies take the field against the Huskies. This round is double elimination; the team that avoids losing twice will advance to the Austin Super Regional.
