A 27-year-old woman was found dead Sunday afternoon in east Oak Cliff, according to Dallas police.
Officers responded to a call for service about 2:35 p.m. in the 1400 block of Georgia Avenue, according to a statement.
Once there, investigators determined people at the scene had found a body, later identified as Maria Murray.
Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and pronounced Murray dead at the scene.
