Fly By Jing, a company that primarily sells chili crisp, has recalled one of its noodle products, which are sold nationwide online and at Texas-based retailer Whole Foods. The recall, dated May 12, was initiated due to possible allergen contamination that could pose “life-threatening” risks.
The chili crisp company recalled its Fly By Jing Creamy Sesame Noodles in single packs and 4-packs that were sold between February 1, 2026, and May 8, 2026. According to the recall, the products may have come into contact with peanuts, which are known to be one of the most severe allergens across consumers.
“People who have allergies to peanuts run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products,” the recall said.
Fly By Jing Creamy Sesame Noodles that were recalled can be identified with UPC codes 8-50052-23988-6 and 8-50052-23991-6. Additionally, both the 4-packs and the single products have best by dates of October 15, 2026; December 6, 2026; and March 23, 2027.
“Fly By Jing discovered a third-party manufacturer produced the product on equipment that also processes peanuts under conditions that may have led to peanuts being in Fly By Jing Creamy Sesame Noodles,” the recall said.
If you have peanut allergies, it is strongly advised to avoid consuming the affected Fly By Jing Creamy Sesame Noodles products. Customers may instead choose to return the products for a full refund.
