The Plano City Council on Monday approved a liquor license for the Exquisite Skillet Pancake House on Route 34.
Owner Santiago Gutierrez says he plans to open the restaurant for dinner four days a week. He is also working on a new dinner menu with a variety of options.
City Attorney Bill Thomas says the ordinance allows for the service of many types of drinks and is meant for restaurants.
The restaurant currently closes at 3 p.m. Dinner service will run Wednesday through Saturday until 8 p.m.
Aldermen approved the license unanimously.
