CAMERON, Texas (KWTX) – Michael Tyler Morton, 34, of Austin, Texas, was killed Thursday in a major crash involving his motorcycle and a passenger car.
According to Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers, Morton was traveling westbound on U.S. 79 near County Road 234 in Milam County when he veered into the eastbound lane of the highway and collided with a 2013 Ford Taurus.
Morton was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the Taurus were transported to Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple for treatment, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
An investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
Morton’s next of kin have been notified.
