AUSTIN, Texas — The Federal Aviation Administration has issued a ground delay for flights arriving at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport through 5 p.m. Friday due to staffing issues.

Departing flights are not currently affected.

The FAA’s Air Traffic Control System Command Center cited staffing as the reason for the delay.

Delays are expected to average 50 minutes, with maximum delays reaching up to 119 minutes, according to the FAA notice.
