TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas — Friday is the last day for Travis County residents affected by July flooding to request free debris removal from their properties.
Travis County Judge Andy Brown urged residents to submit right of entry forms by Oct. 31 to allow county and state crews to clear flood debris at no cost to property owners.

“If your property was impacted by the July floods, please submit your Right of Entry form to Travis County by Friday,” Brown said on X.
The application initiates an eligibility review process for debris removal related to severe storms, straight-line winds and flooding. However, completing the form does not guarantee debris removal, officials said. Eligibility will be determined based on program requirements following an application and property review.
Residents can submit forms online or contact the county at 512-309-0104 or TexasDebris@tetratech.com for assistance.
Applicants must provide government-issued identification for all property owners, a recent tax bill, homeowner and flood insurance documents and a sketch identifying debris locations on their property. Property owners may also need to submit power of attorney, trust documents or corporate documentation if applicable.
The debris removal program covers mud, silt, sand, vehicles, waterway debris, trees and other storm-related materials on residential properties in unincorporated areas of the county.
County officials warned that incomplete applications may take longer to review and encouraged residents to submit forms as accurately and thoroughly as possible.
