LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The Feed King Farmers Market in New Deal has a special event planned Saturday, May 16 to kick off the season.
It will host a barn yard petting zoo, for kids to pet miniature barn-yard animals. The Southwest Diary Farmers will also have a mobile classroom set up, milking cows and teaching kids about dairy farms.
Several vendors will be offering farm fresh milk, eggs, baked good and hand-crafted products made locally. There will also be fresh fruits and vegetables available.
Food trucks will also be parked, offering breakfast burritos, tacos, funnel cake and more.
