LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Early voting for the primary runoff election begins Monday, May 18, and runs through May 22.
Here in Lubbock County, Tom Sell and Abraham Enriquez are running for the Republican nomination for the 19th U.S. Congressional District. The winner will face Democrat Kyle Rable in November.
Republicans will also decide the runoffs for Lubbock County Commissioner precinct 2, between Trey Newton and Kevin Pounds, and also for precinct 4 between Jordan Rackler and Chad Seay.
Voters will also determine the race between Mary Hernandez and Traci Baxa for Justice of the Peace precinct 3.
Several state runoffs are on the ballot for both parties. Republicans statewide will also decide between John Cornyn and Ken Paxton for Senate.

Voting information
Early voting for the party primary runoff starts Monday, May 18, and runs through May 22. It is a joint primary runoff in Lubbock County, which means voters can go to any location to cast an early ballot, regardless of party affiliation. Voters can vote at the same early voting locations as previous elections, including United Supermarkets around town, the Lubbock County Elections Office and various city halls and community centers across the county.
Election day is Tuesday, May 26.
