Summer 2026 Youth Sports Camps
8 a.m. – 10 p.m. at Corpus Christi Gym, 3202 Cabaniss Parkway and Greenwood Sports Complex, 4501 Greenwood Drive, Corpus Christi
The Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation Department is offering summer sports camps for boys and girls ages 8 to 16 featuring basketball, volleyball, soccer, baseball and softball. Camps will be held at Corpus Christi Gym and Greenwood Sports Complex for $70 per camp, with registration now open online.
Summer 2026 Junior Gulf Beach Lifeguard Camps
8 a.m. – 10 p.m. at Corpus Christi city pool and Corpus Christi Beach Rescue Office, 8185 Highway 361. Corpus Christi
The Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation Department is offering Junior Gulf Beach Lifeguard Camps for ages 10 to 15 to help teach water safety and lifeguard skills. The camps cost $90 per person and will be held at a city pool and the Corpus Christi Beach Rescue Office on Highway 361, with online registration now open.

A local fundraiser is bringing together tattoos, piercings and animal rescue efforts to help shelter cats in need. The “Tatts for Cats 2026” event with Powers Tattoos & Body Piercing will feature cat-inspired flash tattoos starting at $20, with proceeds helping provide care and support for shelter cats.
Summer 5-Week Dance Series! Line Dance, Country, & Swing

Coach Lacey and Michael Cisneros are launching several five-week dance classes in Corpus Christi featuring line dancing, West Coast Swing, Country Waltz and Country 2-Step. Pre-registration is now open online, with bundle discounts available and drop-ins welcome for select classes.

Asian Pacific American Heritage Month Festival
1-4 p.m. at Heritage Park 1581 N Chaparral St, Corpus Christi
A cultural festival at Heritage Park will feature free entertainment, martial arts demonstrations, live performances, food vendors and family activities. Organizers say guests can also enjoy face painting, henna art, origami, mochi making and music throughout the afternoon.
