A multi-vehicle traffic collision involving a semitrailer closed Interstate 10 for more than two hours in East El Paso, police said.
The crash scene was cleared and all lanes were reopened by 11 a.m. Monday, May 18, the Texas Department of Transportation said via X.
There were at least three people taken to a hospital following the collision, which occurred shortly after 8:30 a.m. Monday on I-10 West near Yarbrough Drive, El Paso Police Department spokeswoman Detective Judy Oviedo said in a message.

A semitrailer appeared to be down on its side blocking the freeway, according to images from Texas Department of Transportation highway cameras.
All lanes of I-10 West were closed at Lomaland Drive and westbound traffic was backed up to Zaragoza Road, according to traffic cameras. The freeway later reopened.
