A Reddit user recently shared an unverified screen shot from what appears to be the Instagram account of Aaryn Williams, who is rumored to be on the cast of the new reality series. In the social post, Williams calls out the “townspeople” for being “miserable” following the negative reaction by some. It is unclear from the post that the townspeople she is referring to are from Boerne, where Bravo said the show will take place.
“If I listened to what the townspeople are saying and doing, I would be miserable like they are,” the post reads.
Some residents have said the show will portray a “distorted reality” of Boerne and will bring unwanted media attention to the Texas Hill Country town. Williams is no stranger to reality TV and the criticism that comes with it. She was on the cast of the 15th season of the CBS show Big Brother in 2013 and was accused of making racial and homophobic comments.
In a separate post that seemingly belong to Williams, she wrote: “LAST THING. When something bad happens. DO NOT TALK ABOUT IT OR WRITE ABOUT IT. Act like it does not exist. It will be GONE instantly from your energy.”
It is unclear when the Instagram stories appeared on her account, which is public. Instagram stories only last 24 hours.
Williams said in another story post that was still visible on the morning of May 18 that she has “blocked 50% of the townspeople.”
“Let’s surround ourselves with people who love us loudly, publicly, privately, and behind our back,” the post, originally shared from another account, by Williams read.
“Y’all think I don’t see you 🤣,” the social media influence wrote underneath the shared post.
“Did she forget that she and her family still need to live here?” some in the Boerne subReddit thread said in response to her social posts.
