The Tarrant County Subcourthouse in Arlington is a voting location.
Early voting for the primary runoff election began Monday and runs through May 22. Election day is May 26.
In a primary election, voters nominate a Republican and a Democratic candidate to run against one another in the November midterm elections.
In Texas, voters are not required to register with a political party, meaning they may vote in a different party’s primary each year. However, those who voted in the primaries in March must vote in the same party during the runoffs.
Voters must provide one of seven acceptable forms of identification.

Registered voters who do not possess and cannot reasonably obtain one of the seven approved forms of photo ID may fill out a reasonable impediment declaration at the polls and present an alternative form of identification, such as an original or a copy of a current utility bill, bank statement, government check or voter registration certificate.
