What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?
I was the head of marketing for an international scientific software company. I traveled globally, visiting oil refineries and pharmaceutical companies to assist with laboratory efficiency and compliance.

A physical therapist

If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?
Baby Doe Tabor. She is a distant cousin. She was the “silver queen” of Colorado during the 1800s mining days. We used to own some of the mines, but sold due to safety concerns over the years.
What is Houston’s best kept secret?
The Buffalo Bayou, a beautiful underground reservoir.
What do you love most about the industry?
Helping people.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
While difficult, it is invigorating as no day is ever the same.

Networking.

What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?
I was selling a ranch and brewery. The owner would feed the spoiled hops to his cattle. Well, these cows come running for the special treat. It was quite a sight!
What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?
I danced ballet for 20 years, including on-pointe.
What is your favorite vacation spot and why?
Ouray, Colorado. Beautiful mountains, peaceful quaint town and fabulous off-roading on old mining trails.
