EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14/CBS4) — A routine traffic stop over the weekend led El Paso deputies to arrest a Texas man wanted on multiple serious warrants, including intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle.

According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, on Saturday, May 16, deputies stopped a white GMC Sierra with Texas license plates for a defective stop lamp.

During the investigation, deputies identified the driver as 60-year-old William Tudmon and discovered he had multiple outstanding warrants out of Milam County, Texas.

The warrants included multiple counts of intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle, manslaughter, and aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury.

Tudmon was taken into custody without incident and booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on the outstanding warrants.

He is currently being held with no bond.
