LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – A Lubbock firefighter has been placed on administrative leave after being booked into the Lubbock County Detention Center on two charges of false record for/on a birth/death certificate.
Lubbock Fire Rescue Firefighter Jonathan Forkner was arrested on Tuesday, according to a statement released by LFR.
Forkner has been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation.
Lubbock Fire Rescue said it takes alleged criminal conduct by its employees seriously and holds all personnel to the highest standard of conduct, both on and off duty.
The department said any actions inconsistent with its mission and values will not be tolerated.
