LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Frenship ISD and Aramark are once again teaming up to combat child hunger during the summer months. The Feeding Frenship program will provide free meals for all children age 18 and younger across the Lubbock and Wolfforth communities.
Starting June 1st and running through July 24th, children can receive a free lunch each Monday through Friday at to designated Feeding Frenship locations. All children are welcome, and they do not have to be Frenship students to receive meals.
“During the school year, the breakfast and lunch we serve may be the only warm meals a child receives each day. Without those meals, we understand that food insecurity and child hunger may increase during the summer months,” said Tiffany Taylor, Frenship ISD Chief Communications Officer. “We hope this program brings comfort to area families, knowing they have access to free lunches for their children this summer.”
Feeding Frenship Summer Locations and Times:

There will be no summer meals during the week of July 6-10 for the Fourth of July holiday. For more information on Frenship ISD’s Feeding Frenship program, please visit www.Frenship.net.
Due to state and federal regulations, children must be present to receive a free lunch and must eat on-site. Families will also be able to enjoy games and activities at each Feeding Frenship location.
