A motorcycle officer with the San Antonio Police Department has been hospitalized after crashing Thursday morning on the Northeast Side.
The crash took place around 7:30 a.m. on Interstate 35 South near Loop 1604 West. The motorcycle officer was heading to work when they lost control of the bike, SAPD said.
Information on the officer’s condition was not immediately available.
The right exit lane to Loop 1604 West was closed Thursday morning as crews worked to clear the scene.
