This Memorial Day weekend, we are going out even on a Sunday and sleeping in Monday morning.
Start your weekend off in the Entertainment District by channeling your inner cowboy. Watch world champions buck up and compete for $2 million in the American Rodeo Championship Friday and Saturday.
Not in the mood to horse around? Stop by downtown for Arlington’s three-night block party, DreamFest, in celebration of 150 years since the city’s establishment.
Whether you love Motown, country or Tejano tunes, there will be live music for everyone to enjoy Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening.
A true Arlington resident knows that the best way to spend a day is at a Texas Rangers game. Get a ticket and grab some work friends to watch the Rangers go up against the Houston Astros on Monday.
And, of course, what this long weekend is all about: Honoring those who have died to serve our country. Share your gratitude by attending memorial services at the National Medal of Honor Museum or at the Arlington Veterans Park.
