Students take part in annual Field Day
Port Aransas High School students Caden Meyer, senior, Lilly Nixon, junior, Eli Derkits, sophomore, and Julian Meyer, freshman, run to dunk a shirt in water in a relay game where participants had to get a shirt wet and run it back to the next player.
Celebrating the end of the school year by soaking in the sun and having fun, students took part in the annual Field Day events held at all three Port Aransas ISD campuses on Friday, May 15.
Along with inflatable slip-and-slides, play places and water relay race zones, a variety of games and activities were on hand for students to participate in.
Field Day is a decades-old tradition that offers an active way for PAISD students to close out the school year with smiles…and exercise.
