GRAYSON COUNTY, Texas (KXII) – A Dallas woman was jailed Thursday morning on a pair of charges after she allegedly refused to stop for police, leading them on a brief chase near Dorchester.
Emily Kilman was booked into the Grayson County Jail on two charges: driving while intoxicated and evading arrest with a vehicle.
An officer with the Southmayd Police Department was on patrol in the area of SH-289 and FM 902 when they allegedly observed Kilman speeding past at 80 mph in a 60 mph zone.
Police say Kilman refused to stop for the officer, resulting in a brief chase that lasted for three miles until she came to a stop north of Gunter near the intersection of SH-289 and Savage Road.
Kilman was then placed under arrest and taken to the Grayson County Jail, where she was later released after posting an $8,000 bond.
