ARLINGTON, Texas (KCBD) – The Lubbock Christian Eagles (8-1, 3-0) stay unbeaten in district play as they knocked off Arlington Pantego 40-8, the first loss this season for the Panthers.
Back from injury suffered weeks ago, Eagle QB Jason Fleming connected with Keaton Lee for the 70yd touchdown, and the two-point conversion was successful. LCHS doubled their lead to 16-0 when breakout RB DaiDai Atkins broke free for an 83yd touchdown run. Atkins added on another score when he crossed the goal line, and gave LCHS a 40-8 lead.
Next week, LCHS will get ready for the playoffs in their regular season finale against Willow Park Trinity, home at Masked Rider Capital Field.
