The Last Huzzah!
May 23–25 | Scarborough Renaissance Festival, Waxahachie
Closing out its 45th season, the Scarborough Renaissance Festival hosts a three-day Memorial Day weekend celebration filled with music, festivities and community gathering. On Memorial Day Monday, the event will feature a Veterans Parade and Fallen Heroes Tribute, honoring active-duty service members and veterans.
Mah Jong Night
May 27 | Renaissance Dallas at Plano Legacy West Hotel, Plano
Mah Jong Night returns to ŌMA at the Renaissance Dallas at Plano Legacy West Hotel for an evening of guided play, drink specials and raffle prizes. Open to both beginners and experienced players, the event features instruction from a local expert and opportunities to connect with fellow players in a relaxed social setting.
Cory Cross
May 28 | Lexus Box Garden at Legacy Hall, Plano
Texas musician Cory Cross brings his mix of classic honky-tonk and garage rock energy to the Lexus Box Garden as part of Legacy Hall’s Locally Sourced Concert Series. The free show will feature live country music alongside cocktails and bites from Legacy Hall’s lineup of eateries.
Monarch Five Senses Dinner
May 28 | Monarch, Dallas
Monarch will mark its five-year anniversary with an immersive five-course “Five Senses Dinner” designed to engage taste, smell, sight, sound and texture throughout the evening. The experience will feature visually striking dishes, layered aromas and curated sensory elements before concluding with an after-party at Kessaku.
Women’s Golf Day at PGA Frisco
May 29 | The PGA District, Frisco
Women’s Golf Day returns to PGA Frisco with a four-hour experience focused on golf, networking and community. Participants can choose between playing a round on The Swing, the PGA District’s 10-hole par-3 course, or taking a one-hour lesson with PGA of America Golf Professionals at the Coaching Center.
Luau Night
May 29 | Grandscape, The Colony
Experience an island-inspired evening at Grandscape’s Luau Night featuring cultural performances, traditional Hawaiian dances and live entertainment at the Corona Stage & Lawn. The free event will bring the spirit of Hawaii to North Texas with music, performances and tropical-themed fun throughout the night.
Rodeo Celina

Rodeo Celina brings a full weekend of PRCA and WPRA professional rodeo action to Myers Park & Event Center, featuring top competitors, high-energy performances and classic Western entertainment. Guests can also enjoy food and retail vendors, a KidZone, mutton bustin’ and family-friendly activities throughout the event.
FrisCON
May 29–30 | Frisco Public Library, Frisco
FrisCON returns to the Frisco Public Library for a free, pop culture-filled weekend featuring comic book creators, voice actor panels, artist alley vendors and author-illustrator appearances. The event will also include K-pop performances, dance cover groups, food trucks and family-friendly activities throughout the weekend.
Peppa’s U.S. Adventures Tour
May 30–31 | Stonebriar Centre, Frisco
Peppa Pig and George Pig are heading to Stonebriar Centre for a free interactive weekend filled with live entertainment, games, coloring stations and character appearances. Families can enjoy short live shows throughout the weekend followed by meet-and-greet opportunities with Peppa and friends, with advance RSVPs encouraged for limited meet-and-greet access.
Drink North Texas Wine Festival
May 30 | Frontiers of Flight Museum, Dallas
Sample award-winning wines from 12 North Texas wineries during the Drink North Texas Wine Festival at the Frontiers of Flight Museum. The daylong event will feature more than 40 wines, live jazz music, local food vendors, shopping and access to one of the region’s most impressive aircraft collections.

Dragon Trails
Mar. 15– June 27 | Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary, McKinney
Step back in time and let your imagination roam as you explore one of McKinney’s scenic nature trails with an added surprise. The seasonal outdoor exhibit has animatronic dragons lining the trails, connecting myth and science through hands-on family fun.
Soccer: More Than a Game
Mar. 7–Sept. 7 | Perot Museum of Nature and Science, Dallas
As North Texas prepares for the global spotlight of the FIFA World Cup, the Perot is kicking off the excitement with Soccer: More Than a Game. The 10,000-square-foot interactive exhibition explores the science behind the world’s most popular sport, from the physics of a perfectly curved free kick to the strategy behind championship teams. Through hands-on experiences and STEM-focused displays, visitors of all ages can discover the science, skill and spirit that power the game.
Hunt Slonem: Bunnies, Birds & Butterflies
April 20–Sept. 30 | Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, Dallas
Internationally recognized neo-expressionist artist Hunt Slonem brings large-scale sculptures and colorful installations to the Dallas Arboretum for an immersive outdoor exhibition. Set throughout the gardens, Bunnies, Birds & Butterflies transforms familiar pathways with monumental works inspired by nature, movement and color.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone at Cosm Dallas

Step inside the world of Hogwarts through an immersive screening experience that surrounds guests with towering visuals, magical environments and hidden Easter eggs inspired by Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.
