Beeville Police are investigating alleged illegal alcohol sales tied to a business known as “SHOTS,” including claims of unlicensed sales and serving minors.
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Beeville Police Department is continuing an investigation into the illegal sale of alcoholic beverages after officers received reports of a business allegedly operating without proper licensing and serving underage individuals.
According to police, the business operating under the name “SHOTS” came under investigation after authorities were informed it was allegedly selling alcohol without the required permits. Officers followed up on the complaint, leading to an arrest and a broader investigation into the operation.
As the case developed, the department’s Criminal Investigation Division obtained and executed a search warrant tied to the alleged illegal sale and distribution of alcoholic beverages from the location.
Police emphasized that operating outside state alcohol regulations not only creates safety concerns for the public but also harms local businesses that invest time and resources into following the law. Legitimate bar and nightclub owners must maintain proper licensing, train employees, and comply with state requirements to safely serve customers.
The Beeville Police Department says it will continue working to support responsible businesses while holding accountable those accused of operating illegally.
Authorities also reminded the public that all persons mentioned or depicted in the investigation are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
