FORT WORTH – Monty Millen, 61, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away suddenly and unexpectedly of natural causes in his home on May 24, 2026. Monty was born on February 13, 1965, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Camille and Roy Millen. He grew up in Shreveport and graduated from Loyola College Prep in 1983, before earning his degree in Business Administration from Louisiana State University in Shreveport. He later moved to Fort Worth, where he built his career and started his family. Monty was a deeply kind, funny, and loving man who brought joy and laughter to everyone around him. He had a lighthearted spirit and never took life too seriously, always joking and sharing moments of humor with those he loved most. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Stacy, and a proud and adoring father to his children, Emma and Jack. Monty was a beloved brother to his siblings, Danna, Michael, and Eric; and a loving uncle to his nephews and nieces, who all meant so much to him. His family was the center of his world, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Monty had a passion for football and was a huge fan of his beloved Dallas Cowboys and the LSU Tigers. Whether watching a game or talking about his teams, it was something that brought him great joy and connection with others. Monty was also a wonderful cook and enjoyed preparing meals for his family. Although he was a great cook, he was a very picky eater. He took great pride in the fact that throughout his entire life he never ate a sandwich or hamburger. Professionally, Monty worked as a regional sales manager, a role that suited his personality perfectly. He loved talking to people and built meaningful relationships wherever he went. His warmth, humor, and ability to connect left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Monty was preceded in death by his father, Roy Millen; and his brother, Eric Millen. Monty is survived by the love of his life, wife, Stacy; daughter, Emma and her fiance, Kevin Sepanski; son, Jack; mother, Camille and her husband, Jasper Titone; brother, Michael; and sister, Danna. Monty will be remembered for his big heart, his laughter, and the love he gave so freely. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation on May 30, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Greenwood Funeral Home in Memorial Suite C, located at 3344 White Settlement Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76107. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on May 30, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. at Saint Andrews Catholic Church, located at 3312 Dryden Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76109.
