EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Around 200 El Paso Water customers will experience no water service on Wednesday, May 27, in Northeast El Paso, due to improvements to the water system.

The planned water outage will happen from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. along Cross Street, from Deer Avenue to Oryx Circle, the utility company said.

EP Water said they will be replacing aging valves and improving water infrastructure in the area. While water services will be affected, wastewater services will not.

Residents are being urged to plan ahead.

Additionally, EP Water will be providing two water tankers on-site for affected residents, starting at 9 a.m. until the scheduled work is complete and water pressure returns to normal.
