Gunfire broke out at two separate Halloween parties in San Antonio late Friday night. Several people were taken to the hospital with injuries, according to San Antonio police.

The first shooting happened around 10:10 p.m. in the 400 block of Trudell Drive. Investigators said a 27-year-old man and a woman were walking toward a house party when someone inside a white sedan began shooting toward the home.

The man was hit several times in the back, butt, and legs, while the woman was struck in the leg and thigh. Officers said both victims were taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, according to the release.

SAPD says the suspect drove away before police arrived, and no arrests have been made. Investigators believe several people may have witnessed the shooting and are asking anyone with information to come forward.

About an hour later, officers were called to another house party in the 1200 block of Lee Hall for reports of shots fired. When they arrived, they found a 17-year-old girl who had been shot in the leg.

Police said three teenage boys, ages 16, 16 and 18, later showed up at a hospital with similar injuries. All four teens told investigators they were shot at the same location.

Detectives are still working to determine what led to both shootings and whether they could be connected. Police say both investigations remain open and active.
