FORT WORTH – Lisa Annette Pollard, 67, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2026. Lisa was born on May 17, 1959, in Dona Ana, New Mexico, to Ernest and Lee N. Tebay. She spent most of her life in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, though she also lived abroad in Kuwait and England during the business travels of her first husband. Lisa’s life was filled with resilience, love, and devotion to family. After several chapters in life and marriage, she met the man with whom she would spend the rest of her life, her husband, Troy Simmons. Together, they lovingly raised their granddaughter, Zoey, as their own. A lifelong learner, Lisa earned her Doctorate in Economics from SMU. She built a successful career working for Perot Systems and Unisys, before retiring from the corporate world in 2003. Lisa had a deep love for gardening and cooking and found joy in creating beauty around her. She was also a talented artist who especially enjoyed drawing wildlife scenes. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Lee N. Tebay; and her sister, Kathryn Norman. Lisa is survived by her devoted husband, Troy Simmons; granddaughter, Zoey Watt; her two sons, Christopher Bryan Tebay and Bradley Watt; her sisters, Vicki Causey, Elizabeth Deean Lao, and Cynthia Tebay Burleson; as well as many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
