After first building a massive following on TikTok, Alex Warren has transformed himself from a social media personality into one of pop music’s fastest-rising stars.

The California native first gained attention through comedic videos and vlogs — and as a founding member of the Hype House, a collective of young TikTok personalities who lived in a Los Angeles mansion and whose lives were chronicled in a Netflix reality series. But in recent years, Warren has found an even larger audience with emotional, autobiographical pop songs that draw heavily from his difficult upbringing and personal struggles.

Warren’s father died when he was 9 years old, and his alcoholic mother kicked him out of the house when he was 18, leaving him homeless.

Raised Catholic, the 25-year-old has said that his songs are inspired by worship music. His music blends heartfelt singer-songwriter storytelling with polished pop production, often leaning into folk-pop and acoustic influences. Singles like “One More I Love You,” “Carry You Home,” “Burning Down” and the chart-topping “Ordinary” helped establish him as a breakout artist, with “Ordinary” becoming an international smash hit and earning him a nomination for best new artist at this year’s Grammy Awards.
