AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – Four West Texas A&M softball players earned All-American recognition Wednesday when the Division II Conference Commissioner’s Association (D2CCA) and National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) released their 2026 Division II All-American teams.
Senior Jordyn De Los Santos claimed the 2026 D2CCA Ron Lenz National Player of the Year award. She is the third Lady Buff to receive the honor, following Emilee Boyer in 2025 and Renee Erwin in 2014 & 2015.
The D2CCA and NFCA both selected De Los Santos, Brooke Janning and Bella Holland to their First Team rosters. The NFCA placed Trinity Kuntz on its Third Team.
De Los Santos sets records
De Los Santos established new school and conference marks in hits, home runs and total bases this year. She needs three RBI to break the LSC record.
The senior enters the College World Series batting .507 with 104 hits, 23 doubles, five triples and 26 home runs.
She has driven in 93 runs and scored 86 times while posting a 1.049 slugging percentage.
Her 215 total bases set a Lone Star Conference single-season record.
Janning dominates as freshman
Janning earned NFCA National Freshman of the Year honors while compiling a 24-3 record with a 2.59 ERA.
Janning has struck out 131 batters against 33 walks across 35 appearances and 167.2 innings.
She holds a 1.16 WHIP and has limited opponents to a .252 batting average.
The South Central Region champion also contributes offensively, batting .421 with 13 doubles, two triples, nine home runs and 51 RBI.
Holland, Kuntz round out honorees
Holland is batting .449 with 13 doubles, two triples and 19 home runs.
She has 59 RBI and 73 runs scored with a .845 slugging percentage, and has drawn 34 walks against 27 strikeouts in 187 at-bats and is perfect on stolen base attempts at 11-for-11.
Kuntz has caught all 60 games for West Texas A&M this season. She is hitting .407 with eight doubles and 11 home runs while driving in 50 runs, walking 11 times and struck out 11 times in 172 at-bats, posting a .645 slugging percentage and .450 on-base percentage.
