A representative for Bludorn Hospitality Group, known for Houston restaurants Bludorn and Navy Blue, reached out to MySA via a news release to share news about opening a new concept in Carriqui’s former Pearl home. This will be the group’s first restaurant outside of Houston, where chef Aaron Bludorn, Victoria Pappas Bludorn and Cherif Mbodji have opened four food and drink concepts with another one planned for The Woodlands.
“Chef Bludorn and team are looking forward to bringing BHG’s perspective to new audiences, and San Antonio’s rich culinary landscape, deep sense of community and appreciation for hospitality made it a natural fit,” the news release said. “They are honored to revitalize the storied space with their own distinct touch, and join the Pearl’s vibrant neighborhood.”
The name and other details about Bludorn Hospitality Group’s first San Antonio restaurant are still under wraps, but the group will share more about what’s to come over the next few months. MySA will continue to follow along as this new Pearl concept takes shape.
