Banana Ball fans in Corpus Christi will have to wait one more day to meet players from the Texas Tailgaters and Firefighters ahead of Thursday’s sold-out game at Whataburger Field.
The previously scheduled meet-and-greet event was canceled today and moved to Friday, May 29, organizers announced.

Academy Sports + Outdoors is teaming up with both teams for the special event where fans can take photos, get autographs and gear up before the big matchup.
The meet-and-greet is now scheduled for Friday from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at Academy Sports + Outdoors. The event will take place at Academy Sports + Outdoors located at at 5001 South Padre Island Drive in Corpus Christi.
The Texas Tailgaters and Firefighters are part of the popular Banana Ball experience known for its fan interaction, entertainment and unique style of baseball.
