LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – A man pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 12 years in prison on child pornography charges on Wednesday.
Court documents show a cybertip led to the arrest of 32-year-old Mark Landreth. The tip was first reported to police in 2021, showing a user uploaded or possessed videos of that nature via Snapchat.
Investigators traced the IP address back to Landreth’s phone. He was later indicted in 2023 for 10 counts of child pornography.
Landreth was sentenced for two of those counts. Judge William Eichman sentenced him to 12 years in prison.
