Fort Worth has no shortage of places to grab breakfast on a Saturday. But there’s only
one place to do it on a patio twelve stories above downtown — and Branch & Bird
makes the most of its distinctive spot above the city.

The contemporary restaurant located in Frost Tower serves brunch exactly once a
week: Saturday from 11am – 2pm. And for regulars, that scarcity is part of the appeal.

“There’s something about the fact that it only happens on Saturdays that makes it feel
special,” said Jenna Stevenson, General Manager. “People plan for it. They’ll text their
friends on Tuesday and say, ‘Are we doing Branch & Bird this weekend?’ It’s become a
thing for a lot of our guests.”

The menu is worth planning your weekend around. A 12-ounce ribeye arrives with
poached eggs, roasted potatoes, red peppers, and horseradish cream. The Blueberry
Waffle Ham Sandwich is stacked with smoked gouda, bacon, a sriracha honey drizzle,
and even powdered sugar. There’s a Crab Cake Benedict, Blackened Redfish Tacos, a
Salmon Fusion Bowl, and a Brioche Burger loaded with truffle cheese, bacon, candied
jalapeños, and truffle aioli. These are meals that are meant to be enjoyed, slow and
unhurried.

“We don’t compromise on the menu for brunch,” said Armando Martinez, Executive
Chef. “The same care we put into dinner, that’s what’s on the plate on Saturday
morning, too. People are sometimes surprised by that when they come for the first
time.”

For guests who prefer a classic breakfast, Branch & Bird’s “Build Your Brunch” format
lets you put together exactly what you’re in the mood for. Choose three or four items
from an à la carte lineup — waffles, sourdough or jalapeño cheddar toast, roasted
potatoes, bacon, heirloom tomatoes, eggs of your choosing. The range of options
makes it easy to bring multiple people to the same table, whether you’re a party of two
or a larger group.

Then there’s the Barista Bar, which operates as its own draw. Branch & Bird’s in-house
coffee program goes well beyond a standard restaurant coffee offering. Lattes, cold
brew, matcha, chai, and more are all on the menu, complete with a rotating list of
house-made syrups — lavender honey, pistachio, blueberry, and vanilla bean among them. On a Saturday morning, with the Fort Worth skyline spread out before you, it’s hard to ask for a better start to the weekend.

And the view is something no street-level restaurant can match.

“We hear it all the time. People walk in and they just cannot get enough of the patio,”
said Amber Holmes, Director of Operations. “The food and drinks bring them back, but
the view is what gets them in the door the first time.”

Branch & Bird serves brunch weekly — and only on Saturdays. The restaurant is located on the 12th floor of Frost Tower at 640 Taylor Street in downtown Fort Worth.
Validated parking is available in the Frost Tower garage. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 682-785-8888 or visiting BranchBirdFW.com.
