Velox Valuations launched a new franchise operation serving Plano and surrounding communities across Collin, Denton, Dallas, Kaufman and Rockwall counties. The move brings the company’s appraisal services to a region that continues to see strong residential development, population growth and real estate activity.
The new Plano franchise will be led by Sean Michel, a certified residential appraiser who entered the industry before deciding to build his own business under the Velox Valuations brand.
Why Plano?
Plano sits at the center of one of the fastest-growing regions in Texas. New residential communities, commercial developments and infrastructure investments continue to reshape Collin County and neighboring areas, creating ongoing demand for valuation services used in home purchases, refinancing, estate settlements and legal matters.
In an official statement, Michel said the area’s growth made Plano a natural fit for the company’s expansion.
“Plano is experiencing rapid growth, which is driving demand for Velox’s trusted real estate appraisal services,” Michel said. “I look forward to supporting the Plano community and the surrounding area with reliable valuations and making the appraisal process feel simpler and stress-free for property owners, lenders and attorneys.”
Bringing A Direct Approach To Appraisals
Velox Valuations differentiates itself through a model that connects clients directly with certified appraisers rather than relying on intermediary management companies.
The company says the approach helps improve communication, accountability and consistency throughout the appraisal process. Combined with digital tools designed to streamline reporting and scheduling, the model has helped Velox expand into more than 26 states nationwide.
The Plano office becomes the latest addition to that growing network.
Continued National Expansion
Founded as a residential appraisal company, Velox Valuations has increasingly focused on franchise growth by partnering with experienced appraisers looking to operate their own businesses under an established brand.
In an official statement, Velox Valuations CEO Chad Barker said Michel’s background made him a strong fit to lead the company’s first Plano franchise.
“Sean joins our team with solid experience as both an entrepreneur and appraiser, making him a strong fit to lead our first Plano franchise,” Barker said. “As we continue to expand into high-demand markets across the country, we’re focused on growing with qualified appraisers who can build meaningful community relationships and navigate market complexities through a thoughtful, nuanced approach to valuation services.”
The company provides residential real estate appraisal services for homeowners, lenders, attorneys and real estate professionals.
