Two men arrested on child sex crime charges in Nueces County

CORPUS CHRISTI — Two men were booked into the Nueces County Jail over the weekend on separate child sex crime charges, according to jail records.
Gabriel Lira Rocha, 77, was arrested Saturday and charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child. Jail records show Rocha was booked Saturday into the Nueces County Jail by the Nueces County Sheriff’s Office.
Rocha’s bond was set at $100,000.
In a separate case, Ronaldo De Leon, 72, was arrested Sunday and charged with possession with intent to promote child pornography involving a person younger than 18 years of age, according to jail records.
De Leon was booked on Sunday into the Nueces County Jail by the Nueces County Sheriff’s Office. His bond was also set at $100,000.
Additional details regarding the allegations were not immediately available.
