SAN ANTONIO, Texas (KWTX) – A man has been arrested for allegedly making threatening remarks online, including to kill Erika Kirk, ahead of a Turning Point USA event, according to Fox 7 Austin.
Bexar County court records show Jacob Wenske is charged with making a terroristic threat.
Fox 7 Austin reports that authorities discovered Wenske, 26, left a comment on a Facebook post promoting TPUSA’s upcoming Women’s Leadership Summit in San Antonio.
He allegedly commented, “I know exactly where to bomb.”
Wenske reportedly left another comment that said, “I can’t wait to be the valet for her escort,” appearing to reference TPUSA CEO Erika Kirk.
Authorities also allege that Wenske sent an email to TPUSA in January saying, “Death to Erika Kirk and every single speaker there!!…Every Christian nationalist shall perish in the bombing that will take place at every single Turning Point rally and event,” according to Fox 7 Austin.
Security has reportedly been increased for the event set for June 5-7.
