Texas Department of Public Safety said the driver was ejected after losing control of his vehicle on U.S. 77.
SINTON, Texas — A Harlingen man was killed early Tuesday morning in a rollover crash on U.S. Highway 77 north of Sinton, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

DPS said Anthony Villegas, 38, was driving southbound when he lost control of his vehicle shortly before 1 a.m. The car crossed lanes and rolled over several times before coming to a stop upside down near the roadway.
Villegas was thrown from the vehicle during the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace Judge L. DeAses.
An 80-year-old female passenger was taken to Christus Spohn Shoreline Hospital in Corpus Christi. DPS said she was listed in stable condition.
Troopers from the Texas Highway Patrol office in Sinton continue to investigate the crash.
