LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – A man is now facing charges in connection with a crash that left one person with serious injuries Monday evening.
30-year-old Jason Boyd was booked into the Lubbock County Detention Center on an intoxication assault charge.
Around 6:30 p.m., troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash near CR 1200 and Private Rd. 6820, just south of Reese Center.

DPS says the driver was ejected from the vehicle and transported to UMC. The driver has not yet been identified.
Boyd is being held on a $40,000 bond.
