EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — El Paso County sheriff’s deputies arrested a 22-year-old man featured on Crime Stoppers of El Paso’s “Top Ten Most Wanted” list after receiving what the agency described as credible information about his whereabouts.
On Monday, deputies with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office located Justin Ray Chavez of Fabens in the 12300 block of Campo Bello Drive in San Elizario at 2:26 p.m.
Chavez, who was wanted in connection with an aggravated robbery charge, surrendered without incident and was taken into custody, officials said.
Chavez was transported to the El Paso County Detention Facility, where he was booked on the aggravated robbery charge without bond.
This arrest is a direct result of the information provided by the community and the dedication of our deputies,” Sheriff Oscar Ugarte said. “We remain committed to locating and apprehending dangerous offenders who pose a threat to public safety.
