OKLAHOMA CITY (KCBD) – The Texas Tech Red Raiders force a game two on Monday night after Mia Williams hits a walk-off home run to beat Alabama, 5-4.
Lauren Allred and Taylor Pannell also hit home runs in the effort for Texas Tech.
The winner of game two will face Texas in a best-of-three series for the national title. First-pitch is set for 9:09 p.m. CT.
NiJaree Canady set a WCWS record when she enter the game as she’s played in 18 total WCWS games in her career. Texas Tech also grabbed its 60th win on the year with the victory.
The Red Raiders fell short last year in game three of the title game against the Longhorns.
