For the second time this week, the Dallas Cowboys have signed a wide receiver.
On Wednesday, the team announced it had signed receiver Jaden Smith. Smith spent 2025, his rookie season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He originally signed with Tampa Bay as an undrafted free agent after trying out at the team’s rookie minicamp.
Before he landed in the NFL, Smith (6-6, 210 pounds) played collegiately at Nevada, Tarleton State and Montana State. The Kennedale product closed out his college career at Nevada, where he posted 62 catches for 849 yards and seven receiving touchdowns.
