The Kinder’s Texas Bowl will return to New Year’s Eve in 2026.
The annual bowl game — which features teams from the Big 12 and SEC — is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Dec. 31 at Reliant Stadium, the bowl announced Wednesday.
The Texas Bowl has been played on New Year’s Eve three times, most recently when LSU beat Baylor in 2024. It was scheduled to also be played on New Year’s Eve in 2020, but that game was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
